Build the subscriber tier of the DigiClips media search engine, in Angular 20, deployed to www.digiclipsproject.com/subscriber as part of the DigiClips New Version Project.
Specifications: the subscriber project, what a subscriber gets, a rough draft and the customers it is for.
A general public user chooses to subscribe and picks a period: one, two or three days, one or two weeks, one, three, six or nine months, or a year. Each period is charged separately. The MySQL database tracks who is subscribed and until when; access is cut off at expiry and restored when they subscribe again. Payment by credit card, for example through Clover, or by direct deposit through something like bill.com. A QR code opens the subscriber view on a phone, behind name verification and a password.
Put the options directly below the search box and remove the current "Option", "Few Options" and "More Options" split.
Media type: all, free to air antenna television, web streaming television, radio, podcasts, newspapers, magazines, social media and blogs. For television the subscriber also picks which processed layer to search: all, closed captions, speech to text, left channel, right channel, video text recognition or image recognition.
Boolean search with AND, OR and NOT. Output format: all, email, document, PDF, spreadsheet or web page. Generated reports must not contain duplicated words.
For now the only geography is the Denver, Colorado market; Administration adds more markets and stations later.
The subscriber media results report lists each hit with its market, audience numbers, publicity value, length and sentiment. The subscriber ticks the segments they want and can edit them.
Each segment carries buttons: previous segment, next segment, editor, download, media analytics and media transfer. Also wanted: a hit viewership report and a charts and graphs view. Analytics start as worked examples; an administrator adds real Nielsen data later.
Email alerts, chosen by market, media and date range, in any of the output formats. Media and journalist contacts. Media transfer for sending television segments and radio transcripts. Language translation, starting with Spanish and extended through Administration. Archive media, which captures everything for later reporting, is subscriber-only and not part of this first pass.
A user profile stored in MySQL with a password change. Contact us by email, text and phone, also stored. A chat, already built and merged. An opinion page for feedback on the site, a help page, and sign out.
A subscriber must also be able to ask an administrator for help: generating a report, setting up email alerts, editing a segment into a transcript, or sending segments on.
